Accurate measurements are essential for understanding and reducing air pollution. That's why we offer a range of measurement services to help our clients understand the air quality in their environment.
We have extensive experience installing, operating and managing a huge range of measurement equipment, from small sensors to reference grade and scientific research instruments.
We offer routine monitoring services for a variety of outdoor and indoor air pollutants, as well as QA/QC services for existing networks. We can help you identify the most relevant pollutants, instruments and measurement locations for your environment and budgets, and can develop a monitoring plan tailored to your needs.

Atmospheric Quality offers a range of air quality modelling services to forecast current and future air pollution concentrations. We use a variety of cutting-edge techniques and established dispersion modelling software to predict air pollution concentrations, employing emission factors and inventories to estimate the amount and types of pollutants released into the atmosphere by a range of different sources. This helps us identify current and future air pollution concentrations and develop strategies to mitigate them.
We also offer the latest machine learning techniques which can remove the influence of meteorological conditions on air quality concentrations. This helps us to better understand current and future concentrations and identify the sources of pollution that contribute to poor air quality, as well as understanding the impact of specific policy interventions (without metrological interference).
Air pollution is responsible for over 7 million deaths worldwide every year, making it the world's largest single environmental health risk. Air pollution can have a wide range of health effects beyond respiratory problems, including Cardiovascular disease.
Non-exhaust emissions, such as brake wear, tyre wear, and the resuspension of road dust actually contribute more to PM emissions than exhaust emissions thanks to the introduction of particulate filters. EV's and hybrids will continue to emit non-exhaust emissions!
Air pollution is not just an outdoor problem - indoor air pollution can be even worse, as it is often caused by sources like cooking, heating, and cleaning products (and we spend on average 90% of our time indoors!). Click here to see our indoor air pollution services.
